Midwives On The Move has been operating since 2011, providing antenatal and post birth care to women and their families throughout Brisbane and surrounding suburbs, up until 6 weeks post birth. We offer a range of home visiting services as well as appointments in our friendly, General Practitioner supported clinic in Red Hill, Brisbane. These Midwifery services are provided in conjunction with your chosen health care provider, with Medicare rebates available.

Whilst we recognize the importance of Midwifery support throughout your pregnancy, Midwives On The Move has also been created due to the highly recognized need for support for you and your baby upon returning home from your chosen childbirth facility. We provide comprehensive breastfeeding support, postnatal checks of mother and baby, advice on early newborn settling techniques, emotional support and much more. Written informative information packs are also provided at your visit as a constant source of referral. By providing this one on one support in the home we hope that you can feel reassured and become confident with the care you are providing to your newborn.

Midwives On The Move now also has the privilege of working in conjunction with the Greenslopes Obstetrics and Gynaecology Group. We work with a fantastic team of woman focused Obstetricians and Gynaecologists who also value the contribution of Midwives during pregnancy and the post birth period. We provide antenatal education and post birth care, in the form of home visits, with most fees covered by the participating Obstetrician. Please see the Greenslopes Obstetrics and Gynaecology Group for full details.

Please contact us at any time to discuss your options, whether it being antenatal support in conjunction with you health care provider, or to organize a post birth home visit, we are here to support you during this special time.
